Case study: CA ANZ

The obvious way to describe CA ANZ is as the premier professional representative body for accountants in Australia and New Zealand. But in their objective of supporting accountants to perform their best in a quickly changing legislative and best practice environment, they are also a substantial digital publisher. Their publishing collection includes videos, thought leadership, case studies, and so much more.

Our co-design approach provided timely results

I worked with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand to create a three part initiative including a content strategy, content governance and content clean-up process. This also resulted in additional IA experiments based on the content pillars from the strategy.

My objective was to provide a clear direction for ongoing improvements to the main CA ANZ website using a codesign approach. The three-part initiative allowed us to consistently stagger and build on previous work. Working with a range of internal and external provided confidence in the recommendations.

The outcome was clear direction and structure to support an improved IA, internal management structures and guidelines, and content clean-up pilot which paved the way for streamlining and reducing content for optimal user experience.
